3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton was reassured by head coach Matt Nagy that he still is the QB1 on the team......but stay tuned. Nagy and the coaching staff have maintained their loyalty from the first day that Dalton signed with the team but the performance of rookie quarterback Justin Fields in the team's first preseason game could be the snowball that turns into an avalanche. In his first professional game, Fields totaled 175 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns and Bears are rightfully overflowing with excitement. Dalton saw the field for two very short series against the Dolphins and the coaching staff may opt to protect him throughout this preseason process. Dalton is still on target to start Week 1 but Fields could make that decision very difficult in the coming weeks.--Joey C - RotoBaller
