3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton has been named the starter for the team's Week 17 matchup against the Giants. Rookie quarterback Justin Fields (ankle) has been limited in practice the past two weeks and the Bears have decided to err on the side of caution with their future franchise passer. Dalton returns to the lineup after missing the past several games due to being placed on the COVID list and then battling a groin injury. The veteran passer will face a Giants defense that is allowing the 17th fewest fantasy points to opposing passers. Dalton is not worth a fantasy start but his presence on the field should stabilize the value for David Montgomery, Darnell Mooney and Cole Kmet for the final week of the fantasy season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
