Andy Young Hits Grand Slam In Win Thursday
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Andy Young slugged his first career grand slam in Thursday's win over the Nationals. It was his first hit of the season, as he finished 1-for-2 at the plate in the victory. Young has shown potential to be a 25-home run threat in the minors, but the biggest obstacle in reaching that potential is playing time. Thursday was only his second appearance of the season, and once Ketel Marte returns it's likely we'll see Young be optioned down to the alternate site. His value in redraft leagues is limited at the moment, but in dynasty formats managers should consider acquiring him.
