2 years agoRival teams expect the Los Angeles Angels to make starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard available in a trade this summer. The Cincinnati Reds' Luis Castillo is likely the best starting pitcher available on the trade market this summer. Oakland Athletics right-hander Franke Montas' arm injury could further thin the market. The Angels have quickly fallen out of contention in the American League West and are now sellers with the trade deadline quickly approaching. In his first season in Anaheim, Thor has gone 5-7 with a 4.00 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 58 strikeouts and 20 walks in 74 1/3 innings over 14 starts, and he could be attractive for a contending team looking to bolster their starting staff for the second half of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
