3 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels are unsure if starting pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani will pick up a bat on Friday when he gets the start on the mound against the Mariners, according to Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. There have been some concerns in recent weeks with Ohtani's stamina after seeing his velocity dip in a recent start on the mound. Because of this, it makes sense that the Angels may want to keep their superstar two-way player healthy and keep up his energy.
