5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez put together a successful start and got the win Monday in a 12-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox. A sixth-inning solo shot from Leury Garcia was Chicago's only run off Sanchez, who allowed just four hits and a walk while fanning a single batter. That's three straight good outings for Sanchez, who now has a 3.92 ERA after it stood at 5.10 ERA before a brief IL stint from May 17-28. The lack of strikeout stuff Monday could portend that hitters are about to figure him out again, but fantasy owners struggling for pitching in deeper leagues could do worse.--Nathaniel Green
