6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach homered in his fourth straight start on Monday and now has five long balls in 17 at-bats this season. His latest Vogel-bomb came off of Royals starter Homer Bailey, as he finished the evening going 1-for-2 with three walks and a strikeout. Vogelbach has an impressive 5/6 K/BB ratio on the year and is forcing his way into the regular lineup with his strong play. The 26-year-old slugger is worth rostering in deep leagues for the time being, but he figures to remain in a bench role for the long term unless an injury occurs to one of the lineup regulars. Ride the bat while it's hot, but know that it may not have longevity.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
