4 years agoNew York Islanders forward Anthony Beauvillier came up big in Game 6 as he recorded a two-goal performance in Thursday's 4-0 victory against the Capitals. Defenseman Nick Leddy and forward Josh Bailey both added an empty net goal in the final minutes of the third period, while goaltender Semyon Varlamov recorded a 21-save shutout to help the Islanders advance to the second round of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Islanders will match-up against either the Philadelphia Flyers, if they advance in their respective series, or the Boston Bruins in the case of the Canadiens defeating the Flyers in their Eastern Conference first round series.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
