2 years agoMiami Marlins relief pitcher Anthony Bender (back) has been placed on the 15-day injured list, retroactive May 23. He will be sidelined due to back stiffness, which is something that has bothered Bender for quite some time now. The Marlins are expected to use closer by committee while Bender is out. Anthony Bass, Cole Sulser, Tanner Scott and Dylan Floro should all get chances in the ninth inning.
