Anthony DeSclafani Allows Two Runs Saturday
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani allowed two runs in four innings of work in a 6-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. DeSclafani struck out two and walked three although he did not factor into the decision. The outing was a welcome bounce-back effort for DeSclafani, who coughed up seven runs in his previous start, which came against the St. Louis Cardinals. Overall, DeSclafani has a 1-2 record, 7.20 ERA, 1.76 WHIP, and 16 strikeouts in 25 innings of work. He simply hasn't been showing enough upside to be considered in fantasy leagues, even in NL-only formats. DeSclafani is set to take on the St. Louis Cardinals in his next start.
