Anthony DeSclafani Excellent In Win
6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani pitched six shutout innings in a 12-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. DeSclafani struck out six in the outing while walking three. The veteran right-hander picked up his first win of the season, improving his record to 1-1 to go along with a 4.26 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings of work. DeSclafani is starting to become interesting in fantasy leagues as he's allowed just one earned run over his past two starts, spanning 12 innings. He's worth considering as a deep-league streamer for his next start, which is scheduled to come against the New York Mets on Wednesday.
