4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani could be the latest bounce-back pitcher for the team in recent seasons. DeSclafani pitched 3 2/3 innings in Thursday's game against the Mariners, allowing one run on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old has had several successful seasons throughout his career, but he posted a poor 7.22 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 15.8% strikeout rate in 2020. DeSclafani and the Giants are hoping he can join Drew Pomeranz, Drew Smyly and fellow teammate Kevin Gausman as pitchers who revitalized their careers after joining the Giants. DeSclafani would be an interesting fantasy candidate if he can return to form, but he will have to show more to gain fantasy managers' trust.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
