6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani turned in a solid start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. DeSclafani, making his season debut, held the Brewers to one run over five innings while racking up eight strikeouts and walking three. He had to settle for a no-decision as his bullpen promptly coughed up three runs in the sixth inning. It goes down as an encouraging start for the talented starter who has struggled with injuries over much of the past three seasons. On the heels of his excellent outing, DeSclafani is a solid waiver add, especially in deep leagues and NL-only formats. He will be back on the mound to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. He is worth considering as a streamer for that matchup.--Matt T - RotoBaller
