Anthony DeSclafani Lands On Paternity List
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-handed pitcher Anthony DeSclafani has been placed on the paternity list prior to Tuesday’s contest against Milwaukee. DeSclafani would have been in line to pitch this weekend against the Cubs, although that has been thrown into doubt with him needing to miss a minimum of three days as a stipulation of being on the paternity list. Should the Reds need a fill-in for one start, both Tyler Mahle and Tejay Antone would qualify as options that are already on the club’s active roster. DeSclafani’s production has ebbed and flowed through the early portion of 2020, and is likely best utilized as a high-upside DFS selection. Check back for an update on the Reds’ rotation plans.
