Anthony DeSclafani Turns In Quality Start, Earns Win Tuesday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani kept rolling right along in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Reds. Facing his former team, DeSclafani pitched seven innings, allowing a single run on six hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with seven strikeouts. The 31-year-old has had a great season like many of his rotation mates. He is now 3-1 with a 2.03 ERA and five of his nine starts have been quality starts. He has hugely rewarded fantasy managers to this point. He will face a tough matchup against the Dodgers at home in his next start, but fantasy managers can likely feel comfortable starting him given how well he has performed.
