5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani pitched well in a 6-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. DeSclafani allowed just one run over five innings while striking out four and walking three. The win goes down as DeSclafani's third in his past five starts. The veteran hurler improved his record to 8-7 with a 4.40 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 127 strikeouts in 122 2/3 innings of work. He isn't quite consistent enough to treat as an every start option but he is worth streaming in plus matchups. That will not be the case in his next start, which comes against a Pittsburgh Pirates that has been solid against right-handers this season. Leave him on the waiver wire for that one.--Matt T - RotoBaller
