4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Anthony McFarland Jr. will be inactive for his team's Week 1 contest against the New York Giants. Without McFarland available, the Steelers will rely on the same three running backs they did last year with James Conner, Benny Snell, and Jaylen Samuels. Conner should be considered the lead back here by a good bit and is a strong fantasy option in Week 1. In terms of Snell vs. Samuels, Snell appears above Samuels on the team's depth chart and should serve as the primary backup, giving him flex appeal in deep leagues.
