Anthony McFarland Jr. Rolls Up 49 All-Purpose Yards In Week 3
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Anthony McFarland Jr. saw his first game action in a 28-21 win over the Houston Texans in Week 3. McFarland carried the ball six times for 42 yards and added a seven-yard reception in the win. The rookie looked explosive, ripping off a 20-yard run in the game and could be in line to steal some touches from Benny Snell Jr. going forward. Head coach Mike Tomlin commented after the game that McFarland brings a "different skill set" to the offense. He isn't worth starting in fantasy yet as he is behind starter James Conner but keep him on your radars as a waiver add if he continues to grow his role going forward. Pittsburgh will face the Tennessee Titans in Week 4.
