3 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels will place third baseman Anthony Rendon (wrist) on the injured list with right wrist inflammation. Rendon was held out of Friday's starting lineup and will be out for at least the next 10 days. The 31-year-old has been playing through pain for much of the season and has so far delivered a .242/.335/.403 slash line with five home runs, 23 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases in 173 plate appearances over 41 games for the Halos. Rendon will be eligible to return on June 6 and should be stashed in most fantasy leagues, but expect him to be out longer than the 10 days. With Rendon out on Friday, Tyler Wade started at third base and hit ninth. Wade is hitting .234/.280/.309 with a homer, seven RBI and four steals in 39 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
