7 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon (toe) is likely to be activated Saturday as long as his rehab start with the Potomac Nationals goes well. Rendon is a key component in a potent Nationals offense which ranks second in the NL and seventh overall in runs scored. Weekly leaguers will need to plan on having Rendon back in the lineup for the next scoring period. Rendon is an impact bat when he's healthy, as evidenced by his .394 wOBA and 142 wRC+ in 2017.--Phil Goyette
