3 years agoLos Angeles third baseman Anthony Rendon (triceps) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers. He will miss his fourth straight game due to a triceps injury. Angels manager Joe Maddon is "hopeful" Rendon is available to pinch-hit in Friday's game. The 31-year-old is trending in the right direction and is expected to return to the lineup soon. Kean Wong is batting seventh and will handle third base duties while Rendon is sidelined. Wong is slashing .167/.189/.278 across 40 plate appearances in 2021 and someone to avoid as a streamer. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Rendon and hope he can return to the lineup over the weekend. The Angels' third baseman remains day-to-day.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
