6 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup. He was hit on the hand by a pitch on Friday night, and that could be the cause of his absence. Rendon has really picked things up after an early-season bout with an injury. The 28-year-old has a .289 average to go along with 16 home runs and 58 RBI on the season. More details should be released soon. Mark Reynolds will get the start at third base in his absence and bat seventh.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
