Anthony Rendon Showing Improvement
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (wrist) is healing as expected after he visited with a doctor. The soreness and inflammation in his right wrist is subsiding, and Rendon could start baseball activities soon, but there's no timetable for his return. Rendon was put on the injured list on May 28, and he could return later this month or in early July. The 31-year-old was hitting .242/.335/.403 with five home runs, 23 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases in 173 plate appearances over 41 games before his injury, and he should be stashed in all fantasy leagues. Matt Duffy and Tyler Wade will continue to split playing time at the hot corner in Anaheim until Rendon is able to return.
