2 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon will undergo season-ending surgery on his right wrist next week. Rendon recently returned from an IL stint due to an injury to the same wrist, and he re-aggravated it just four games later. This is the second season in a row where Rendon will need season-ending surgery after his 2021 campaign ended due to a hip injury. The former fantasy star had gotten off to a rough start, slashing .228/.324/.383 with just five home runs in 162 at-bats.
