7 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon (foot) will start a rehab assignment at High-A Potomac and play a few games. The assignment should reassure owners since the team plays in Woodbridge, Virginia, which is just a short drive from the major league club in D.C. That means that Rendon could be ready to return to the Nats sooner rather than later. His absence from the lineup has meant more walks for Bryce Harper, who normally hits ahead of him.
