3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo (COVID-19) was activated from the COVID-19 injured list on Wednesday, the team announced on Twitter. Rizzo makes his return to the lineup following a 10-day absence after he tested positive for COVID-19. He was riding a hot streak at the plate following his trade from the Cubs, as he was slashing .281/.400/.563 with three homers, one steal, six RBI and eight runs scored over his first nine games with New York.
