4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) had an MRI earlier this week that confirmed that he has inflammation in his lower back. Manager David Ross indicated that it’s still too early to determine if Rizzo will be placed on the injured list. If Rizzo misses time, catcher Victor Caratini and third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant would be most likely to play first base.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
