4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo extended his hitting streak to three games on Friday, finishing 1-for-3 with two walks in a 5-2 loss to the Braves. It shows just how much Rizzo has struggled this year that his current three-game hitting streak is the longest he's had to start the season. Over his last three games, Rizzo is 4-for-10 with a double, a steal, three walks and two strikeouts, which improves his 2021 triple-slash line to .182/.302/.295 over 13 games. Managers will hope that this is finally the start of Rizzo's return to normal, as he has not yet lived up to his draft position.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
