3 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss versus the New York Mets. Rizzo started what would be back-to-back home runs with Patrick Wisdom in the top of the seventh inning, but that would be the Cubs only offense on the evening. Rizzo seems to have recovered well since being sidelined with some back issues in May. Rizzo is now hitting .264 with eight home runs and 30 RBI. He remains one of the safest options at the first base position when he is healthy.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
