3 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI in Wednesday's victory versus the San Diego Padres. Rizzo returned on Tuesday after missing a week with back soreness and he has been 5-for-8 in his time back. Managers always have to be aware of his chronic back issues, but Rizzo is as safe as they come as far his production is concerned. The upcoming free agent is now hitting .275 with five home runs, 21 RBI and three stolen bases. Rizzo will look to keep it up versus the San Francisco Giants and starter Anthony DeSclafani on Thursday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
