3 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) will miss my second straight game with a stiff back on Thursday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Rizzo should be available to pinch-hit if needed. The first baseman has dealt with back issues in the past and this is the second time this season that his back has flared up. Rizzo is hitting .258 with five home runs, 19 RBI and three RBI. Rizzo remains day-to-day and will be replaced in the lineup by infielder Patrick Wisdom with third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant shifting over to first base.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
