2 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo (head, back) is no longer experiencing headaches, according to manager Aaron Boone. Rizzo had a blood patch done on Friday and is expected to be with the team at the ballpark on Saturday. Boone also said that Rizzo could be able to play by the end of the team's upcoming road trip. The 33-year-old started experiencing headaches after he received an epidural injection last week for lower back pain. But it looks like he's turned a corner now, and he could return by Sept. 20 when the Yankees start a series against the Pittsburgh Pirates at home. Rizzo is hitting just .225 on the year, but he has been a must-start in fantasy when on the field due to his 30 long balls, 71 RBI, 71 runs scored and six stolen bases in 414 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
