4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) did some work in the field prior to the park being open to the media on Saturday. Rizzo took batting practice earlier in the week and has been working hard to be ready for Opening Day. Rizzo has dealt with back issues throughout his career, but is trending towards being ready on Opening Day. If Rizzo is not ready, catcher Victor Caratini and third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant will handle first base.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
