Anthony Rizzo Takes A Seat For Game 1
2 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of the team's Saturday doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians. Rizzo is hitting just .221 on the year, but he hit his 21st home run of the season on Thursday and has been one of the most consistent sources of power in fantasy this year. The 32-year-old left-handed slugger should be back in the lineup for Game 2 against Cleveland. Lefty-hitting Matt Carpenter will get the nod at first base and is hitting seventh in the Yankees batting order against Guardians left-hander Kirk McCarty. Carpenter does have three hits in 10 at-bats, including two of his six home runs, against left-handers this year, but he'll be a low-upside DFS sleeper in Game 1.
