4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) took like batting practice on Thursday. On Wednesday a MRI revealed that Rizzo was dealing with lower back pain, but Thursday’s action should be looked at with a positive sign. The slugger saw 17 pitches and bunted six times, he also did some light running around the bases. Rizzo has been rumored to be in the best shape of his playing career and could slip a few spots as owners may be scared off by his back issues.
