Anthony Santander Hits 17th Home Run Of Season Tuesday
5 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander continued to contribute at the plate in Tuesday's Game 1 4-2 win over the Rays, going 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts. The 24-year-old lined a sixth-inning Oliver Drake changeup down the right field line for his 17th long ball of the season. Santander has been a solid asset for the O's and fantasy owners this season, posting a .292/.327/.522 slash line with 48 RBI in 334 plate appearances. He should be able to take advantage of the Rangers subpar pitching staff in the O's next series.
