4 years agoOn a main card where every single bout was stopped by a finish on Saturday, Anthony Smith (35-16) displayed solid striking before earning the TKO stoppage. Smith landed a kick that injured Jimmy Crute. At the end of the round, the doctor was forced to stop the bout due to injury. The sixth-ranked Smith pulled out a huge victory, and with the win, he can start his run toward another title opportunity. In five minutes of action, Smith landed 26 significant strikes (27 total strikes) but was taken down all three times by Crute.
