3 years agoAnaheim Ducks backup goalie Anthony Stolarz logged his second shutout in three starts and fourth straight win by knocking off the Buffalo Sabres by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Stolarz made 25 saves against Buffalo, with 15 coming in the third period. He's posted a 4-2-1 record with 2.42 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. The 27-year-old is proving that he deserves to be the backup to starter Josh Gibson.
