6 years agoNew York Mets closer Anthony Swarzak (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation, per NY Daily News Sports. Pitcher Jacob Rhame was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas in a corresponding move. Swarzak has been less than stellar this season, posting a 6.00 ERA in 21 innings. Hopefully, he can take this time to heal up and get his mind on the right track. Robert Gsellman, who saw save opportunities earlier in the season, would likely be the guy to get the opportunities in Swarzak's absence.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
