He has a poor 5-8-1 record ahead of the contest with a 2.65 goals-against average, a .907 save percentage, and two shutouts. Detroit has been among the worst teams in the league this season, but they are on a run of three wins in four games, so Khudobin finds himself in a tricky spot.
