Antonio Gandy-Golden Retires Thursday
2 years agoWashington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said that tight end Antonio Gandy-Golden is retiring from professional football and will return to school. Gandy-Golden, a fourth-round pick by Washington in 2020 out of Liberty, caught just one of seven targets for three yards in 10 games (two starts) in his two seasons with the Commanders. He also had one carry for a 22-yard gain in his rookie season. The 24-year-old was making the transition from wide receiver to tight end this year, but that experiment is now over.
