Antonio Gibson A Strong Play On Thanksgiving
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson put up a career-high 128 rushing yards and a touchdown in his first taste of the Washington/Dallas rivalry and will look to spoil Thanksgiving for the Cowboys in a Week 12 showdown. Gibson has been on fire lately with five touchdowns in his last four games. Normally that would signal regression may be coming, but head coach Ron Rivera went out of his way this week to praise Gibson's tough running style and nose for the goal line implying Washington's first-year coach will keep feeding the rookie in the red zone. Gibson missed Monday's practice (ankle) but logged a full session on Tuesday so he should be all set to suit up Thursday. Start Gibson with confidence in all formats.
