Antonio Gibson Earns Questionable Tag For Sunday
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (toe) has been listed as questionable to suit up for Sunday's game against the Cowboys after injuring his toe in Week 15. Gibson was held to a season-low 26 rushing yards vs. Philadelphia, but he did manage to collect his sixth rushing score of the year. With J.D. McKissic (concussion) sidelined, Gibson stands to continue seeing the lion's share of snaps out of the backfield when healthy. An absence would pave the way for Jaret Patterson (who also found the end zone in Week 15) and Jonathan Williams to get into the mix. Shrewd fantasy managers may attempt to secure Patterson as an 11th-hour switch with Washington playing the late game Sunday, which makes Gibson's status all the more tricky to navigate.
