Antonio Gibson Finishes With 65 Total Yards
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson finished with 15 carries for 26 yards and a touchdown, while adding six receptions for an additional 39 yards in Tuesday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The sophomore was able to make up for his low production on the ground by finding the end zone and having a big role in the passing game, so fantasy managers were able to get a solid showing out of him in PPR formats. Gibson left the game briefly with a toe injury before returning, so that could be something to monitor ahead of the team's Week 16 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. The Washington offense should be more effective once Taylor Heinicke gets back under center, so Gibson will find himself as a high-end RB2 moving forward.
