Antonio Gibson Handles Career-High 36 Touches
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson handled a career-high 36 touches in Monday night's win over Seattle. Gibson ran 29 times for 111 yards and added seven receptions for an additional 35 yards while converting on a two-point rushing attempt. The sophomore's workload suggests that he is closer to full strength than he has been in the past, so it seems his fantasy value is on the rise as we inch closer to the fantasy playoffs. With J.D. McKissic suffering an injury late in the game, Gibson could see his usage in the passing game skyrocket after he caught a season-high seven passes. He has caught no more than three passes in a game this season, so any increase in usage as a receiver would put him back into low-end RB1 for the remainder of the season.
