3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (hip) wasn't at the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday. Gibson was limited to begin the practice week on Wednesday, so this downgrade should have fantasy managers a bit concerned about his status heading into Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The 23-year-old played just 35% of the offensive snaps in the blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week, and despite rushing for 29 yards on a season-low six carries, he salvaged his line with a receiving score as the lone bright spot for Washington's offense. Gibson is trending down as a low-end RB2 with an injury concern this week, and rookie Jaret Patterson could be in line for a substantial role if Gibson is out or limited in Week 17. His Friday practice participation will be key.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
