Antonio Gibson Practices In Full On Thursday
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (shoulder) practiced in full on Thursday and will assume his lead-back role in a good matchup with the Lions. Head coach Ron Rivera said Gibson was held out of practice Wednesday as a precaution. Gibson has been losing passing downs work to J.D. McKissic, but both backs have been involved in the passing game as Washington lacks playmakers behind Terry McLaurin. Gibson is averaging 4.8 targets-per-game over the last five games which is good news versus a Lions Defense that allowed five touchdowns to running backs this season, most in the NFL. Start Gibson with confidence in all formats.
