Antonio Gibson Racks Up 104 Yards And A Touchdown Sunday
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson handled 16 carries for 94 yards and a rushing touchdown in a win over the Bengals on Sunday. Gibson added one catch for 10 yards. He scored early with a one-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter and helped salt the game away late as Washington led throughout the second half. J.D. McKissic and Peyton Barber will be involved from time to time, and it would be nice to see Gibson earn more receiving work, but the rookie runner is the clear lead-back in this offense. He'll be a must-start option on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys.
