3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (illness) was not activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and ruled out for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was placed on the COVID list Friday and wasn't cleared ahead of Sunday's game. The 23-year-old has been one of the few bright spots for Washington, rushing for 891 yards and six touchdowns while catching 41 passes for 289 yards and three scores over 15 games in 2021. Rookie Jaret Patterson is expected to lead Washington's backfield while Gibson is out. Patterson is an RB3/flex against an Eagles defense that ranks 12th in rush DVOA.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
