3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson has his outlook on the rise as we head into the stretch run of the season. With J.D. McKissic out, Gibson could be leaned on quite heavily once again, just six days after the sophomore handled a career-high 36 touches against Seattle. Gibson gets another great matchup on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have given up the ninth-most rushing yards and a generous 4.4 yards per carry this season. The 23-year-old finds his way back into RB1 territory as he has looked increasingly healthier since Washington's BYE week. After catching a season-high seven passes in Week 12, Gibson could see his passing game usage increase with McKissic sidelined. However, Jaret Patterson could see an increased role, and Wendell Smallwood may get some passing game usage.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
